News: May 23rd, 2007You may have come here seeking my animations of Knights of the Dinner Table, Dork Tower, or Paranoia XP. Trust that I do intend to repost them here soon. Obviously, I’ve decided to drag myself kicking and screaming onto a web package that’s easier to update. Other things will change too, like the theme and [...]
News: May 23rd, 2007I’m writing with curious and curiouser apprehension at the altered beast sitting before me.
It started when TheJoe decided to switch the servers over to Linux, then began to migrate all his other computers over. In between his talk and flinging out names I’d only heard in passing like CentOS and Fedora he told me about [...]

News: August 16th, 2007Probably one of the most sought-after applications for Linux is a 2D animation solution. The fact that Adobe offers no Linux support for Flash sends many people to the Linux forums asking if there’s some sort of Flash-like program for Linux, myself included. I’ve looked at the common responses to these requests and most of [...]
News: October 16th, 2007So this is what I’ve been working on for the past month. I made this using Synfig for animation, Hydrogen for
the background beats, Audacity for creating and editing sound effects, Cinelerra for compositing video and audio and rendering, Avidemux for YouTube conversion and GnoTime Tracker for keeping track of how much time I spent making [...]
News: March 24th, 2008After many requests I have decided to use YouTube to upload the Knights of the Dinner Table movies. Although I had a long standing interest in animation, this was the first animation I had ever made, using Flash 3.
News: March 25th, 2008After the surprise success of the first cartoon, I was surprised to find myself making another, as well as finding friend to voice the other characters for me. I’ve had people write me to say they can’t read the cartoons anymore without hearing our voices for them now.
News: March 26th, 2008The shortest of the cartoons, this one required me to draw a new prop and a flame effect. The sound of the fire and shutoff button was just me making strange noises and then effecting and distorting the hell out of it in what was known as CoolEdit (now Adobe Audition).
News: March 26th, 2008With this episode I got more adventurous with the end-credit gag. I wrote it myself instead of adapting it from a comic. Erik Bouchard was kind enough to translate and voice it for me. It resulted in a gag many people cite as one of the funniest in the series.
News: March 27th, 2008In this one, I re-designed the credits, choosing different fonts and making a crest for the crew that incorporated the dice. The visuals accompanying B.A. description of the action we inspired by Everquest 1. The end gag is a parody of The Blair Witch Project.
